Privacy policy
Last updated 5 November 2026
This policy explains what Last Ledge ("the game", "we"), made by Verxion, collects when you play, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as the game needs to work.
What we collect
- Your player account. When you first play online we create a guest account: your player name and avatar (both changeable), and sign-in tokens kept on your device. No email address or phone number is needed.
- Sign in with Google, Facebook or Apple (optional). If you sign in or link an account, we store that provider's account identifier so you can recover your profile on another device. With Google or Facebook we also store the web address of your profile picture and show it as your avatar. We do not store your email address, password, friends or contacts, and we never post anything on your behalf.
- Career statistics. For finished online matches: matches played, wins, losses, draws, matches you left, and totals such as shots, hits, damage and terrain destroyed.
- Chat and safety. Quick phrases, stickers and (in private rooms) typed messages are relayed to the other player. A room keeps its last few messages in memory so they reappear if you reconnect; they are gone when the room closes. If you report a player, the report and a short excerpt of recent room messages are saved for up to 90 days so we can review it. Your block list is saved so blocked players aren't matched with you.
- Technical data. Our servers receive your IP address and basic request details, used for security (for example rate limits) and kept in short-lived logs.
- Deletion requests. If you use the deletion form, we keep the name and email you enter until the request is handled.
Offline play (on one device or against the computer) doesn't send any game data to our servers. The game has no ads and no purchases at the moment; if that changes, this policy will say what those services receive before they are added.
Why we use it
- To run the game: accounts, matchmaking, private rooms and your career statistics.
- To keep players safe: reports, blocks, rate limits and fair play.
We don't sell your personal data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Other players see your player name, avatar or profile picture, and what you send in chat.
- Sign-in providers: Google, Meta (Facebook Login) and Apple confirm your identity when you choose them. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account data and statistics are kept while your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your profile, sign-ins, statistics and block list straight away. Reports are kept for up to 90 days. Server logs are kept for a short time only.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the game (Profile → Delete account), or with the form on this site.
- Change your name and avatar any time in your profile.
- Mute chat or block a player from the chat panel during a match.
- Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct or export your data, or object to how it's used. Email us and we'll help.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Sign-in tokens are short-lived and stored hashed on our servers.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you in the game when the change is significant.
